Studie Engelse taal en letterkunde, Utrecht University. Na het doctoraal examen via vertaalwerk het bedrijfsleven ingerold.
Lange tijd actief geweest als mede-eigenaar van een bedrijf in de hout renovatiesector.
Enige jaren geleden, de overstap gemaakt naar het onderwijs via een opleiding: Nederlands als tweede taal (NT2) in het primair onderwijs aan de Haagse Hogeschool.
Sindsdien met veel plezier actief als NT2 docent.
Motivatie: liefde voor taal, interesse in mensen en culturen.
Ervaring met:
- Inburgeringstrajecten (Alfa tot C1) in groepsverband
- Individuele lessen aan inburgeraars (A1-C1)
- Groepslessen aan expats bij de Volksuniversiteit Breda

Background
Master English Language and Literature, Utrecht University. Ended up in a business setting, initially as translator. Was active as co-owner of a company in wood renovation for a number of years.
Some years ago, I switched to education by following an extensive course: Dutch as a second language (NT2) in primary education at the Haagse Hogeschool (The Hague college).
Since, I have been active as a NT2 teacher, teaching Dutch. With great satisfaction.
Motivation: fondness of languages, being interested in people and cultures.
